Melted Marine Debris Bookmark

These bookmarks get their color from the fibers of ropes and nets which are recovered during local beach cleanup efforts. Selected cuts of rope are taken home before being washed and dried. Cleaned portions are then broken down into their individual fibers which is fused together with post-consumer plastics to create a lightweight and durable material.
