You can get here easily by boat but it’s a long and arduous hike! You’ll view sea caves and rugged volcanic landscapes on the path to this adventure! This trip features personal attention in a small group setting. Join us for this great ocean journey along the historic Kona coast!

Snorkeling Participation (Everyone is welcome aboard but snorkeling participants must be good swimmers) Non-swimmers and/or those not snorkeling should sign up for the reduced pricing of the “ride along” rate.

Checklist for Snorkeling Participants:

  • Strong swimmer (swim 100 yards)
  • Strong physical condition
  • Excellent Health: No medical conditions
  • Between Ages 8 – 68

Meeting Instructions:

We meet at Honokohau Harbor at public restrooms located at 205 Kealakehe Parkway, Kona – just a 10 minute drive north of Kailua-Kona, HI on Hwy 11. Please arrive 30 minutes before your departure time and call us to inform us you’ve parked.

DIRECTIONS AT THE HARBOR:

Once you turn into Honokohau Harbor continue on Kealakehe Parkway until you reach 205 Kealakehe Parkway – turn right into the parking lot and locate the public restroom area. (if you see Pacific Biodiesel sign – you are close. Next find the restroom building with the red roof).

Once parked near the public restrooms, give us a call/text and let us know you have arrived. Your crew will meet you at the public restrooms 30 minutes before departure time. The slip is G-22 but we meet at the public restrooms with the Red Roof. Look for our Captain Cook Snorkeling Cruises sign – near location

If you drive too far you will find the road dead-ends near Jacks Diving Locker (gas pumps and a store with a deli) Simply turn around and drive back about one block and turn left into the parking area just before the 90 degree left turn in the road. Please print out a google map of this location the day before your trip and place in your car.
